What we collect

When you sign in to Giflit, we collect your email address. That's it. We don't ask for your name, address, phone number, or any other personal information. We also store the items you add to your list — the product URLs, titles, images, prices, and any notes you add.

Why we collect it

Your email address is used solely to send you a magic link so you can sign in. We don't send marketing emails, newsletters, or anything you didn't ask for. Your list data is stored so you can access and share it.

Who can see your list

Your list is public by default. Anyone with your Giflit link (giflit.com/yourusername) can view your list. We don't hide this — it's the whole point of the product. If you don't want your list to be public, don't share the link.

Affiliate links

Giflit uses an affiliate link programme. When someone purchases a product by clicking through from a Giflit list, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. This doesn't affect the price you pay. It's how we keep Giflit free.

Third parties

We use Supabase to store your data securely. We use Microlink to scrape product information from URLs you paste. We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. If you have any trouble, email us at hi@giflit.com and we'll sort it out manually as soon as possible.
